The ChemTalk team is working hard to make chemistry fun, easy, and accessible for the entire planet. Diversity, equity and inclusion are centerpieces for all of our programs.

Our core program – Chemistry Education and Outreach for Middle, High School, and College Students

The core program of ChemTalk is chemistry education and outreach via our website and social media. We create written and multi-media content ourselves that we distribute through these modes. Integral to this program are our website, intern program, social media channels, and experiments.

Volunteer / Intern Program

At ChemTalk, we are proud of our ability to recruit qualified interns and volunteers. With our team, we aim to showcase chemistry and revolutionize how students can connect to and communicate chemistry. We are proud that many of our team members are high school, college, and graduate students.

Creating the World’s #1 Online Chemistry Portal

We are building the world’s #1 chemistry portal. There are fun and easy to understand tutorial and in-depth information on all of the elements. There are also experiments, sources of inspiration, role models, career information, researcher and professor interviews, history of chemistry, o-chem, and featured chemistry-related hobbies. When students and adults research chemistry on our portal, they will not only learn about their topic, but get exposed to current research, living role models in chemistry, interviews with professionals, and potential career paths. Our content also covers the related fields of biochemistry and materials science.

Promoting Chemistry on Social Media

We are utilizing podcasts, Youtube, Instagram and TikTok to create the best chemistry social media program out there. We want to get people inspired and passionate about chemistry.

Additional Programs

We are creating a series of teacher resources, videos and infographics promoting safe practices in chemistry, including hazard avoidance, use of green chemistry, and proper disposal. We also have great middle school science resources. Additional programs that will be effective in furthering our mission are still in development.
