Michelle P.
Specialties: General Chemistry, ALgebra, Pre-Calculus
Michelle is a passionate educator with over a decade of extensive K-12 teaching experience in various sciences, including chemistry. Currently pursuing graduate studies at the University of Florida, Michelle is dedicated to making a difference guiding students to build life-long problem solving skills and overcome academic challenges. Michelle has also taught higher level chemistry concepts at the university level for students seeking entry to graduate and medical schools.
Michelle’s commitment to student success, individualized learning and continuous growth has been a driving force throughout her career.
Katie S.
Specialties: General Chemistry
Katie is an accomplished secondary education teacher, leader, and curriculum developer with more than a decade of experience teaching people chemistry. Katie earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Neuroscience and a Master of Arts in Teaching at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. Katie has mentored and taught students at all readiness levels, across all levels of secondary chemistry (and much secondary science). She inspires students in their education and seeks to support others wherever she goes.
Katie is fiercely passionate about helping all students both access chemistry and feel confident and comfortable working with its advanced subject matter.
Cecilia V.
Specialties: General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry
Cecilia Vollbrecht is currently an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Kalamazoo College. She earned her BSc in Chemistry at Centre College and her PhD in Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She enjoys engaging with the public about science, and believes everyone should have access to knowledge.
