Hi, I’m Lawton Long

I am one of the co-founders of ChemTalk. I film content for the ChemTalk YouTube channel and social media.I received my Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of California, Irvine. I am a chemical engineering PhD student at the University of Florida. I specialize in the study of the catalytic modulation of disease-associated proteins. I also have a lot of hobbies including fishing, model aviation, chemistry. During my free time, I am frequently found building things in my shop using a variety of methods, such as machining and 3D printing.
