Hi, my name is Peyton Powell!

I am a senior writer for ChemTalk. I am also a senior at the University of Louisville where I am majoring in neuroscience and psychology with minors in biology and chemistry. At the University of Louisville, I am a member of the Honors Program and have spent time working as a research assistant in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences.

I have always had a passion for science, especially chemistry, because of the many ways in which it helps us better understand ourselves and the world around us. I joined ChemTalk for this reason and also to be able to help make science education fun, easy to learn, and available for everyone. In my free time, I enjoy staying active, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.
