Bo Bramer, Co-Founder

Bo is a 3rd year chemical engineering student at UCI with a passion for the computational side of chemistry. Bo plans on working in the pharmaceutical and energy industries to help advance their technology using software engineering. He also enjoys running experiments in his home lab in his free time. Outside of lab work and school work, Bo is working on an application to help students visualize and interact with molecules in 3 dimensional space.

Scott Gietler, Co-Founder

At age 14, Scott was the youngest student in his district to ever take AP chemistry and get the highest possible score, after which he trained for the ACS International Chemistry Olympiad at the Air Force Academy two years in a row.

After studying engineering at CWRU and getting a masters degree at UVA, Scott founded several successful companies, and has been on the board of directors of for 8 years.

Scott’s passion for chemistry has only grown. He believes that when telling someone that your hobby, area of study, or profession is chemistry, the only acceptable response is “Wow, that is amazing!”.

Ansley Pinigis, Co-Founder

Ansley Pinigis is a senior at the University of Georgia. She is pursuing a degree in chemistry and plans on working as a chemist after she graduates. She loves chemistry because it connects other sciences. Her passion for chemistry is so strong she wants to help others discover their passion for chemistry too. Currently, she is working with a research group on sustainable nanomaterials. Sustainable chemistry is something she is passionate about, and she would love to have a career in providing more sustainability in our everyday lives. Ansley loves to hike, camp, or do anything outside with her dog in her free time.

Lawton Long, Co-Founder

Lawton is a 4th year chemical engineering student at UCI who plans to pursue his PhD in biochemical engineering with a focus on synthetic biology. He has an immense passion for chemistry and hopes to spread his love of chemistry and engineering to a wider audience. Outside of chemistry, He enjoys basketball and is frequently found in his shop where he fabricates things.

Samantha Magpantay, Exec Team member

Samantha is a junior at Brown University, majoring in chemistry and history. Her favorite elements from the periodic table are Lanthanum and Yttrium. Sam views chemistry as the world we live in and experience -as an amazing, fundamental part of the everyday. She is of the firm belief that chemistry is a subject that can be understood by anyone, regardless of their scientific knowledge.

Katrina Luett

Katrina Luett is a Chemist that is currently employed by Procter and Gamble—Beauty Care in Iowa City. Katrina works in the raw material lab. Her main job duties include testing all of the incoming chemicals to ensure their quality and leading method transfer efforts. Outside of work Katrina loves to hike, swim, and spend time outdoors.
